Have you noticed how seldom anyone is held accountable for crooked, unconstitutional, or unethical actions anymore? Especially those in government, corporations, and churches.  Witness Arkansas government’s triumph in raising recent taxes.

They say a fish rots from the head down and that is what we are witnessing.  The leaders of our government institutions…school indoctrinators; military, justice, legislatures, executive, law enforcement, welfare, etc. have twisted, tortured, and metastasized their cancers into all walks of life. Their compulsion for attention, growth and power, within a demented politically correct environment, is not only out of control, but out of reason’s realm.

It’s like trying to make sense of a runaway insane mind.  Unless our elected, appointed, and hired “officials”, as well as our media, corporate & church elites are held responsible for their unethical, unconstitutional acts, what chance do taxpaying citizens have who try to eke out a living in the face of overwhelming corruption, lies, and deceit?  Those despicable types used to be “tarred & feathered” or “run out of town on a rail”, now they are given raises, appointments, and reelections. They make Medusa look like Mona Lisa.

Where does the responsibility lie?  With us all, but especially with the academia/media/military/industrial/governmental complex, as well as complicit churches.  Most people just want to be left alone to raise their families, make a living…you know…life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.  But the fanatics and leaders simply can’t leave those individual concepts alone. They need cannon fodder for their aggressive bloody wars and forced redistribution to finance their so-called programs, unearned largesse, and insane empire building.

Without accountability we have nothing but an unjust, criminal society…mercy for the guilty and punishment for the good, because being good is no longer “allowed”. If that is not insanity, I know not what it is.
