Back in the day (educational history through mid-60’s), public schools were just that…public and run by district citizens—nearly 100% graduated. Teachers were qualified and students were educated in core curricula. In deference to today’s teachers, they were not harassed and harnessed by government.

In those times administrators presented needs/concerns to local school boards which were generally legitimate requests.  Not so today.

The state and Feds have taken over every facet of education, substituting purposely revised programs which thwart pupil’s ability to think.  Government education has become one of the largest criminal enterprises in our republic, enabled by AEA, NEA.   Revisionism and indoctrination is the matrix now.

What is the true purpose of grief counselors, policing, diversity/sensitivity training, thought crime agents, dumbed-down curricula and tolerance for slovenly dress, tattoos/ piercings, bad behavior?   BILLIONS spent on infrastructure… in Arkansas, misleading the public regarding academics—35% dropout rate.  Misguided citizens tolerate because layers of bureaucracy insulate against citizens’ concerns.

Summing up failures; government schools’ principal concerns are funding, expansion, and political correctness, resulting in impenetrable fiefdoms.

Case in point:  A Freedom of Information request was filed re: UAFS Chancellor Beran’s travel, expenses, and purposes from 01/07-10/09. Days away…2007, 86; 2008, 130; 2009, 102; …equals 3.4 months per year.  7 trips/nights undisclosed.  Travel expenditures 2007 = $44,658; 2008 = $58,743; 2009 = $34,321, totaling $137,722 for 2 yrs, 10 months (160+nights).

Three trips to the Orient, occurring each October (China, Japan, India, Korea, Viet Nam) with wife and others.

Priorties?

It is said he is courting industries and oriental students, why?  The U.S. ranks between 18th-29th internationally in academic achievement…trillions subsidizing the failed national system.

Points:  No meaningful oversight, government unions, Globalist agenda, erasing borders, no public discourse, disregard for excellence in academics driven by political correctness.   Who pays?
