It was reported in
the Democrat a week or so ago, and other sources, that you met with the
President and Voila you walked out with an $81 million “earmark” for your south
Arkansas district.
$81 million will buy a lot of votes in your district and a
lot of cover from the parasitic politicians and bureaucrats nesting in your
district….and on the other hand it appears the $81 million bought Obama one vote
and maybe more.You did vote the
Healthcare Bill out of the Energy & Commerce Committee after you received
the $81 million.
Mike, an honorable and principled man would have said “Mr.
President my vote is not for sale” and his vote would be made on merit and the
Constitution. Secondly, an honorable and
principled man would say “the U.S. government does not have $81 million to give
away”, but what the government does have is $67 TRILLION in unfunded mandates
and a $13 TRILLION public debt.
