The ProtectionRacket Reigns Supreme                                                July 28, 2009

Reported in Arkansas papers today we find a perfect exampleof the arrogance, malfeasance, misfeasance, and outright criminality permeatingArkansas state government.  The lack ofmorals, ethics, honesty & conscience is breathtaking.

Many government employees are “double dipping”.  They are above the rules set for us meremortals.  They not only are “retiring” inorder to receive retirement pay but continuing in their positions in order tosteal their usual paychecks.

What is even more stunning is that the rapacious harpies inthe legislature passed bills that made it possible for the slugs to steal fromthe taxpayers with impunity.  Now the “officials”are making pitiful excuses for such crooked, rotten behavior.

Gov. Beebe “This was a way to retain them and not give theman incentive to just go away”. PREPOSTEROUS!   He also said hehopes to determine if officials misunderstood the law or deliberately abused it”IMBECILIC!

Gail Stone, Executive Director of APERS (Retirement agency)said she didn’t have the authority or staff to make sure retirees haven’treturned to their jobs.  ABSURD!

Eddie Jones, Association of Arkansas Counties executivedirector, said he didn’t think county officials should be punished for what “hasbeen a fairly common practice since 1999”. “They did so in ‘good faith”.   UNSCRUPULOUS!

Now the Weasel (A.G. McDaniel) will investigate the HenHouse.  You know, the Weasel who ignores our immigration laws, and testified in favor of La Raza’s favorite affirmativeaction Judge Sotomayor.

Doncha feel all better now taxpayers?  At least we can thank one legislator, AllenKerr for being honest enough to make this complicit criminality (protectionracket) public.
